MagnaFuel EFI Pressure Control Units.
More than a
Bypassing Regulator:
Magnafuel 's EFI Pressure Control Units are more than
regulators. Their unique guided-metering valve assembly provides far more
accurate metering of fuel flow than any old-style ball-over-hole arrangements.
These EFI PCUs provide the most stable platform for fuel delivery in the
performance industry. Their special metering valve helps reduce the amount of
pressure drop that can occur at high flow demand and during times of sudden
changes in fuel demand, such as initial launch, gear change and nitrous oxide
application. The EFI PCU was designed to work with the EFI 600 Pump.
Customized for Your Application: PCUs are available in two different body sizes
with the particular spring combination to suit your
fuel flow at pressure specification. Each PCU has an 1/8" NPT pressure port for
a gauge. It comes standard with a filtered vent fitting, or optional boost
reference fitting.
Two models are available. The Standard MP-9925 is good for applications of up to
700 horsepower. The Large MP9950 is for use in applications of up to 2,000+
horsepower. Both pressure control units are available in three different
pressure ranges: 6-20, 18-50 and 35-85 psi. Both come with either a boost
reference fitting or a screened vent fitting.

All
Magnafuel pressure control units are hand-assembled to the highest quality
standards; then flow tested to ensure maximum performance. All

PCUs are compatible with racing gasolines and alcohol fuels.

EFI PCU uses standard straight 0-ring fittings and

specially priced kits to get you hooked up and connected without

Magnafuel
pressure control units are the most stable platform for fuel delivery in the
performance industry. We will always share pertinent technical data so you can

The job of a pressure control unit is to maintain a set pressure while still
maintaining flow. Compare the flow versus pressure curves of the
Magnafuel
design and the
Magnafuel quality against the competition. Although any fuel
system should be compared by rating pressure versus flow, few manufacturers
supply the information. Carburetors must have a stable supply of fuel in order
to maintain the correct liquid fuel height so that the air/fuel ratio can be the
same at all positions on the race course. This is most difficult with
drag-racing vehicles that sometimes have forward acceleration and wheel stand at
