MFR161063 Small Block Mopar Motor Plate. Available with or without holes for mounting steering pump and with or without bushings. made from 6061 T6 aluminum 3/16" thick. Can be mounted on top of frame rails in A, B, or E, Body Mopars. Motor plates reduce the stress on the sides of the block incurred during hard launches and thus reduce internal cylinder wall distortion as well as cracking on the sides of the block in the area of the motor mount. They substantially increase the structural integrity of the front frame area by connecting both sides together. They're also easier to work on and give much more header clearance.
